ISPAHAN-Teppich, gewebt aus Seidenkett- und -schussfäden Iran. Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Wollvelours auf Seidengrund. Ein königsblaues Feld, in dem sich Blumen- und Blattranken vermischen, bildet den Hintergrund für ein mehrlappiges, sternförmiges Medaillon in Elfenbein und Himmelblau. Das Ganze wird von vier cremefarbenen und himmelblauen Zwickeln mit Pflanzenmotiven eingerahmt. Hauptbordüre in Elfenbein mit vielfarbigen Blumenverzierungen, flankiert von zwei Gegenbordüren in Altgold und zwei weiteren in Creme mit Blütengirlanden. H_212 cm L_153 cm Gutachter: Frank KASSAPIAN
