Er wird üblicherweise in Grün (der Farbe der Wiedergeburt) oder Schwarz (als Anspielung auf die Fruchtbarkeit der Nil-Auen) dargestellt, in Mumiengestalt, mit den Attributen der Mumifizierung von der Brust abwärts.
