Tunesia, ein schönes römisches Porträtgefäß aus Terra chiara mit der Darstellung einer Frau, ein CEOinochoe aus dem 3. bis 4. Jahrhundert in dunkelorange-roter Farbe, in Form eines Frauenkopfes. Im oberen Teil des Gefäßes, in der Nähe des Ausgusses, befindet sich eine Inschrift: „EX OF[ICINO] NAVIGI“. Die Frau hat mandelförmige Augen, und ihr Gesicht wird von welligem Haar umrahmt. Sie trägt eine Halskette mit einem Anhänger in Form eines Auges. H. 21,8 cm. Provenienz: Niederländische Privatsammlung, zwischen 1970 und 1974 von einem für das niederländische Außenministerium tätigen Sammler erworben, der in Nordafrika stationiert war. [1]
