Italienische Schule, Anfang des 17. Die Jungfrau mit Kind in einer Landschaft Grauer Lavis auf Rötelstrichen, auf Velin. 16,7 x 21,7 cm. Abnutzungen Unidentifizierte Sammlermarke (L.4582) unten rechts, unleserliche Beschriftung auf der Rückseite. Unsere Zeichnung ist von einer Radierung von Camilo Procaccini (Bologna 1555- Mailand 1629) inspiriert, die die Ruhe der Heiligen Familie darstellt, doch unser Künstler behält nur die Hauptgruppe, in umgekehrter Reihenfolge, der das Kind stillenden Muttergottes bei. Die üppig bewachsene Waldlandschaft des Kupferstichs wird hier durch eine Säulenbasis links und ein Löwenzahnbüschel rechts ersetzt. Weit hinten befindet sich eine Landschaft, die der Porta San Paolo in Rom ähnelt, mit Cestius' Pyramide und der Aurelianischen Mauer. Trotz einiger Ungeschicklichkeiten bei den Proportionen ist das Werk von großer Feinheit in der Ausführung.
