Drei typische Kompositionen des belgischen Avantgardisten Karel Maes (1900-1974), der als Pionier der geometrischen Abstraktion gilt und Mitbegründer der Zeitschrift "7 Arts" (1922) war. Er unterhielt auch enge Kontakte zu "De Stijl". - Die Blätter etwas berieben, gebräunt und selten leicht knickspurig.
