Monogrammiert "CK" unten rechts neben der eigenhändigen Widmung an "Richard Hamann für die schönen Aufnahmen". Um 1927. Blattmaße: 49,3 x 34,5 cm. Die lebensnahe Bewegungsstudie ist offensichtlich ein Geschenk für den Kunsthistoriker Richard Hamann (1879-1961). Der Begründer des Bildarchivs Foto Marburg erfasste Georg Kolbes plastisches Werk systematisch für das Marburger Archiv und stand mit Kolbe in direktem brieflichen Austausch. So ist u.a. ein Briefwechsel aus dem Jahr 1927 erhalten, in dem der Bildhauer Hamann um Aufnahmen seiner Skulptur "Große Kauernde" im Garten des Marburger Kunstinstituts bat. - Verso in den oberen Ecken unter Passepartout montiert, im Ausschnitt minimal gebräunt. - Provenienz: Bassenge, Berlin (2009), seitdem in Berliner Privatsammlung.
