China - Album mit 182 überwiegend montierten Original-Photographien aus China. Vintages. Silbergelatine. Um 1900-1910. Album: 37 x 31 cm. Leinwand mit Kordelbindung (bestoßen, berieben). Die Abzüge meist in den Formaten 6 x 8,5 cm bis 9 x 15 cm. Auf einem Mützenband erkennt man den Namen Kiautschou. Gezeigt werden deutsche Mariner und ihre Familien, der Gouverneur Meyer-Waldeck, Gebäude aller Art, Landschaften, zerstörte Büroräume (nach dem Boxeraufstand ?) u.a. Das Album stammt aus dem Besitz des Mariners August Grethe (geb. 1884, 1906 Eintritt in die Marine, 1912 Fähnrich). - Teils etwas blass, selten kleine Schichtschäden, insgesamt gut erhalten. #
