Roter Lederband der Zeit mit Rücken- und Deckelvergoldung (etwas berieben und teils beschabt, Kapitale mit Fehlstellen). Mirza Habib Allah Shirazi (1808-1854), bekannt als Qaani, war ein bedeutender Dichter im Iran des 19. Jahrhunderts. Er gilt als einer der letzten großen klassisch-persischen Dichter der Ära der Qadscharen. Eines seiner Hauptwerke ist der vorliegende "Divan", eines der umfangreichsten dichterischen Werke dieser Epoche mit Lobgedichten, religiöser Poesie, moralischen Lehrgedichten und Elegien. - Vorsätze fleckig, Titelblatt mit Einriss am Innenrand, vereinzelt gering fleckig. *
