Bömer/Degering L 8106 (irrig 1753) - VD17 7:701501M. - Anton Fürstenaw, (auch Fürstenau, 1593-1653, Kaufmann und Politiker, Gesandter der Stadt Herford) bewahrte 1636 die Stadt Herford vor Belagerung und Eroberung und wurde dafür der erste Ehrenbürger Herfords. - Auf die Geschichte der Stadt und ihrer Privilegien folgen Urkunden zu der sog. Jülichschen Zession 1547, zu dem 1548 verlorenen Prozeß wegen der Unabhängigkeit, Anerkennung als Reichsstadt 1631, Wegnahme durch Brandenburg 1647 und 1652. - Im weißen Rand Wurmspur, letzte Blatt unten etwas wasserfleckig. *
