BM STC German Books 926 - VD16 W 4301 - Erwiderung auf eine im Bistum Augsburg kursiernde "gewisse Fabel ja lügenhafftiges zu verleumbdung deß geistlichen Stands märlein", gleichzeitig eine Widerlegung lutherischer Glaubensinhalte in 15 "Argumenten". Ursache des Streits ist die dem Hl. Ulrich, Bischof von Augsburg (890-973) untergeschobene Streitschrift (Epistola Pseudo-Udalrici de continentia clericorum) gegen den Zölibat. Bischof Ulrich soll in seinem Teich 6000 Kinderköpfe gefunden haben mit dem Ausspruch: "Es ist besser zu heiraten als Gelegenheit zum Tode zu geben." - Zeitgenössischer Eintrag am Schluss von Blatt 4, etwas gebräunt. *
