Thomas Lound, britisch, 1801–1861– Strandansicht, Abend; Bleistift und Aquarell auf Papier, 13,9 × 21,4 cm. Provenienz: Sammlung von Rev. John Bowman (tätig 1826–1841), Norwich. Bei Martyn Gregory, London [VG 681]. Anmerkung: Lound war Mitglied der Norwich School of Painters und lebte sein ganzes Leben lang in Norwich. Er studierte bei dem Künstler John Sell Cotman und stellte von 1820 bis 1833 bei der Norwich Society of Artists sowie zwischen 1845 und 1859 in London aus. Seine Werke sind in den Sammlungen des V&A, des National Trust, der Norfolk Museums Collections und des Yale Center for British Art vertreten.
