Original-Collage, signiert an Erich Buchholz. 14 x 9 cm, auf einem Trägerkarton befestigt, der eine handschriftliche Inschrift von Buchholz trägt, 21 x 13,5 cm. Collage aus verschiedenen Papierstücken, die auf eine Postkarte aufgeklebt sind, auf der Schwitters’ Werk „Trauernde“ abgebildet ist. Auf der Rückseite: eigenhändiger, signierter Text von Hannah Höch und signierte Grüße von Kurt und Helma Schwitters. 26. Dezember 1922. Von Hannah Höch und dem Ehepaar Schwitters versandte Postkarte, verziert mit einer Original-Collage. Auf der Rückseite: Adresse von Erich Buchholz und Text von Hannah Höch in Bleistift: „Diese Karte zeigt Ihnen, dass ich mich in der ‚Merzschwitterei‘ in Hannover befinde und daher leider Ihrer Einladung nicht folgen kann. Ich bitte Sie jedoch, ... [unleserlich] zu genießen und sende Ihnen herzliche Grüße, Hannah Höch...“. Mit einem Nachtrag von Kurt Schwitters in Tinte („Herzliche Grüße, Kurt Schwitters“) und der Unterschrift von Helma Schwitters.
