ADOLFO MATUTE ASENSIO (Rincón de Soto, La Rioja). „Woher Formen kommen.“ Prägung auf Papier. Unsigniert. Maße: 77 x 77 cm; 82 x 82 x 4 cm (Rahmen). Das Werk ist charakteristisch für Matutes Umgang mit weißen Flächen, bei dem Relief und Lichtspiel anstelle von Farbe die primären künstlerischen Elemente bilden. Spiralen, gebrochene Linien und geometrische Formen werden hier durch minimale Eingriffe in das Papier angeordnet und erzeugen ein äußerst subtiles Schattenspiel. Adolfo Matute Asensio ist ein Künstler aus La Rioja, der sich auch in der Kunstpädagogik engagiert. Seine Werke wurden unter anderem in der Rodríguez-Acosta-Stiftung und in der Galerie der Caja de Ahorros de Barcelona ausgestellt; 1992 gewann er den Wettbewerb zur Gestaltung des Logos für das Planetarium von Pamplona.
