MIHÁY BODÓ (Budapest, 1957). Ohne Titel. Öl auf Leinwand. Signiert in der rechten unteren Ecke. Maße: 97 x 130 cm. Miháy Bodó lebt in Barcelona. Er studierte Bildhauerei an der Kunsthochschule von Barcelona. Seine Ausbildung in Malerei ist mit dem Atelier Torres García (TTG) verbunden. Sein Mentor und Freund war der New Yorker Maler Bruno Fonseca. Sein Hintergrund in Ingenieurwesen und Philosophie prägt die rationale Struktur seiner Gemälde. Vor allem aber zeichnen ihn sein Talent und die Originalität seiner künstlerischen Sprache aus. Er baut jedes Gemälde auf einer akribischen zeichnerischen Grundlage auf, auf die er dann mit äußerst präzisen Pinselstrichen eine sorgfältig ausgewählte Farbpalette aufträgt, um eine äußerst ausdrucksstarke Lichtstimmung zu schaffen, die den Betrachter vom ersten Blick an in ihren Bann zieht. Seit 1999 stellt er regelmäßig in der Sala Parés aus, ebenso wie in anderen Galerien in Spanien, Frankreich und Ungarn.
