Uschebti. Abgetragene quarzhaltige Fayence; dunkles Pigment. Ägypten, Dritte Zwischenzeit, 21. Dynastie, ca. 1069–945 v. Chr. Höhe 9,8 cm (ohne modernen Sockel) Erhaltungszustand: starke Abnutzung der Oberflächenlasur; Inschrift teilweise lesbar; moderner Sockel aus schwarzem Holz. Restaurierung im unteren Bereich. Beschreibung: Stehendes mumienförmiges Uschebti, das Gesicht von einer glatten, dreiteiligen Perücke umrahmt, die Arme vor der Brust verschränkt, die Hände möglicherweise mit Ackergeräten (Hacken) in den Händen. Der Körper ist mit einer zentralen Spalte aus Hieroglyphen beschriftet. Herkunft: Ehemalige französische Privatsammlung, erworben während einer Ägyptenreise zwischen 1979 und 1980. Seitdem im Besitz derselben Familie.
