"Das ist schlecht." Goya-Stich Nummer 46 - 19.-20. Jahrhundert Radierung und Aquatinta auf Papier. Ungefähre Maße auf Basis der Standardplatte. Reproduktion der Platte Nr. 46, mit dem Titel *Das ist schlimm*, aus Francisco de Goyas berühmter Serie *Die Katastrophen des Krieges*. Die Szene zeigt die brutale Ermordung eines Mönchs durch bewaffnete Soldaten, während eine andere Figur tot auf dem Boden liegt. Die Komposition enthält eine kraftvolle visuelle Anklage gegen institutionelle Gewalt und die Grausamkeit des Krieges. Obwohl es sich bei diesem Druck nicht um ein Original der Goya-Ausgabe handelt, ist die Ausdruckskraft des Originalentwurfs erhalten geblieben, mit intensiven Lichtkontrasten und einem energischen Pinselstrich, der die dramatische Spannung einfängt. Diese Reproduktionen, die im 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert sehr verbreitet waren, dienten dazu, Goyas Werk einem breiteren Publikum zugänglich zu machen, und sind nach wie vor von großem dokumentarischem und ästhetischem Interesse für das Sammeln historischer Grafiken.
