Serge Vollin (Französisch, geb. 1946) „Erinnerungen an meine Kindheit“, 1996 Bleistift, Pastell und Graphit. Höhe 33, Breite 53 cm. In einem gerahmten Passepartout. Herkunft: Sammlung Laurent Danchin (1946–2017), Schriftsteller, Essayist und Kunstkritiker, durch familiäre Vererbung. Serge Vollin wurde im algerischen Aurès-Gebirge geboren und begann bereits im Alter von acht Jahren zu zeichnen, um die Traumata des Algerienkriegs zu verarbeiten, bevor er sich zunächst in Frankreich und später in München niederließ. Sein Werk – mehr als 1.700 ohne Vorzeichnung entstandene Arbeiten – verbindet moderne Kunst, Art brut und Kunsttherapie. Laurent Danchin verfasste den Text „Mes Aurès / My Aures“ im Werkverzeichnis von Serge Vollin, Band 1 (Objet trouvé éditeur, 2004).
