Pavel Petrowitsch Leonow (Russisch, 1920–2011) Der Tänzer Öl auf Leinwand. Mit Titel und Signatur in kyrillischer Schrift. Höhe 90, Breite 84 cm. Kleine Fehlstellen. Provenienz: Sammlung Laurent Danchin (1946–2017), Schriftsteller, Essayist und Kunstkritiker, aus Familienbesitz. Als autodidaktischer russischer naiver Maler, ehemaliger Tischler und Holzfäller, begann Leonov erst spät, in den 1970er Jahren, mit dem Malen von dichten und erzählerischen ländlichen Szenen, die heute insbesondere in der Collection de l’Art Brut in Lausanne aufbewahrt werden.
