Chomo (Französisch, 1907–1999) Komposition Metall-Flachrelief und Malerei auf Hartfaserplatte. Auf der Rückseite signiert und kontrasigniert. Gerahmt. Höhe 38, Breite 66 cm. Beschädigungen Provenienz: Sammlung Laurent Danchin (1946–2017), Schriftsteller, Essayist und Kunstkritiker, durch familiäre Vererbung. Chomo (Französisch, 1907–1999) Bildhauer und Gründer des „Village d’Art Préludien“ im Wald von Fontainebleau in Achères-la-Forêt, Chomo war der erste Künstler, den Laurent Danchin entdeckte; dieser besuchte ihn von 1975 bis 1983 jede Woche und veröffentlichte seinen Bericht (Chomo, Un pavé dans la vase intellectuelle, Simoen, Paris, 1978). Danchin war zusammen mit Martine Lusardy Kurator der Ausstellung „Chomo, le débarquement spirituel“ (Halle Saint Pierre, Paris, 2009–2010) und anschließend gemeinsam mit Aymeric Rouillac die Ausstellung „Faites un rêve avec Chomo“ (Château, Tours, 2015–2016).
