Michel Nedjar (Französisch, geb. 1947) Der Kältescheue Puppe aus Papier, Wolle und Schnur. Höhe 59, Breite 8, Tiefe 10 cm. Herkunft: Sammlung Laurent Danchin (1946–2017), Schriftsteller, Essayist und Kunstkritiker, durch familiäre Vererbung. Als bildender Künstler und experimenteller Filmemacher ist Nedjar eine bedeutende Persönlichkeit der französischen Art Brut. Seit 1976 fertigt er Puppen aus wiederverwerteten Stoffen, Erde und Blut. Jean Dubuffet erwarb eine bedeutende Sammlung seiner Werke für die „Collection de l’Art Brut“. Er ist Mitbegründer der Sammlung „L’Aracine“, die heute Teil des LaM in Villeneuve-d’Ascq ist.
