Lower right dated: "1978". Date: 1978 Description: Atmospheric view over the sea of houses in Grotte di Castro with the striking Madonna del Suffragio church. The green landscape of the Lazio region in Viterbo opens up to the left of the brick-red and brown-coloured roofscape. The artistic colour gradients in bold hues are typical of the artist, who mainly studied landscapes in Italy and captured them in watercolour. Provenance: From the estate of the artist.
