Titled in pencil lower left. Date: c. 1910 Description: Successful landscape painting in a marshland, probably in northern Germany or the Netherlands. The artist skilfully uses the sails of ships sailing in the distance as well as the towering windmills to enliven the flat landscape. Keywords: 20th century, Realism, Landscape, Germany, Size: Paper: 19,4 cm x 24,9 cm (7,6 x 9,8 in) Condition: Good condition. The sheet is slightly discoloured due to its age and spotted in places, especially on the margin. Damaged by pressure marks in the paper at the upper right. The corners of the sheet are slightly bumped.
