RICCOBONI, Marie-Jeanne. Gesammelte Werke. Neue, von der Autorin überarbeitete und erweiterte Ausgabe... Paris, bei Volland, 1786. In-8 (19 x 12 cm), geschupptes Kalbsleder, glatter, verzierter Rücken, marmorierte Schnittkanten. Einband aus der Entstehungszeit. 8 nicht kollationierte Bände; illustriert mit 24 Einlegebildern (auf Vollständigkeit der Bilder geprüft) Abnutzungsspuren an den Einbänden. Illustrierte Ausgabe mit 24 Kupferstichbildern von Brion de La Tour und Gravelot (hier vor dem Druck). In diesen acht Bänden finden sich alle seine Romane, verschiedene in Zeitschriften (Mercure de France) veröffentlichte Texte sowie zwei Bände mit Übersetzungen englischer Theaterstücke. Riccoboni, dessen europäischer Ruhm beträchtlich war, inspirierte unter anderem Laclos und Beaumarchais. Sein Einfluss war während der gesamten ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts spürbar; Germaine de Staël stellte seine Romane neben „Die Prinzessin von Clèves“ und „Paul und Virginie“, Marceline Desbordes-Valmore reihte sie in ihre Bibliothek ein.
