In-8, roter Halbmaroquin mit Ecken, Rücken mit Rippen, die durch gepunktete Goldfilets hervorgehoben sind, Kästchen mit Rahmenverzierung, vergoldeter Kopf, Einband und Rücken erhalten. Einband signiert von Louis Gilbert. 343 Seiten, Frontispiz, Abbildungen im Text, farbige Kopf- und Fußstreifen, Initialen und Schlussbuchstaben. Leichte Verschmutzungen am Einband. Illustrierte Ausgabe mit Originalzeichnungen von Georges Barbier. Auflage limitiert auf 1099 Exemplare, dieses Exemplar ist eines der 921 nummerierten Exemplare auf Rives-Papier (Nr. 599). Schönes Exemplar mit seinen Einbänden, gut gebunden.
