In-12 (14,5 x 8 cm), jansenistischer Einband aus grünem Maroquinleder, Innenbordüre aus Spitze, Schnittkanten auf Marmorpapier vergoldet. Einband aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. VIII-279 S. Rücken leicht verblasst. Provenienz: Ex-libris Amédée Rigaud und Bertheau. Anonyme Sammlung, die Anne-Gabriel Meusnier de Querlon (1702–1780) zugeschrieben wird und drei bereits erschienene Novellen vereint: „Le Point de vue de l’Opéra“ (1743); „Psaphion“ (1747); „Les Hommes de Prométhée“ (1748). Hinzu gekommen ist: „Serpille et Lilla ou le roman d’un jour“, übersetzt aus dem Italienischen; gefolgt von „Cinname, histoire grecque“ (erste französische Ausgaben dieser beiden letzten Stücke). Wunderschönes Exemplar, perfekt gebunden in einem jansenistischen Einband aus Vollmarokko aus dem 19. Jahrhundert.
