619 - GYARMATHY Michel (1908–1996), geboren als Miklós Ehrenfeld, war ein ungarischer Kostümbildner, Bühnenbildner, Regisseur und künstlerischer Leiter, der die französische Staatsbürgerschaft annahm. Er ist bis heute berühmt für seine beeindruckende Karriere im legendären Pariser Kabarett „Folies Bergère“. Nach seinem Abschluss an der Moholy-Nagy-Universität für Kunst und Design in Budapest im Jahr 1929 ließ er sich Anfang der 1930er Jahre in Paris nieder. Von Paul Derval (dem damaligen Direktor der Folies Bergère) entdeckt, trat er 1935 in das Haus ein.
