Die "Weltausstellung" von 1889 fand vom 6. Mai bis zum 31. Oktober in Paris statt und war der Hundertjahrfeier des Sturms auf die Bastille gewidmet. Speziell für die "Weltausstellung" von 1889 wurde der Ingenieur Gustave Eiffel mit dem Bau des berühmten Eiffelturms beauftragt, der ursprünglich nach Ende der Veranstaltung wieder abgebaut werden sollte. [ВСЕМИРНАЯ ВЫСТАВКА] ПРОГРАММА концерта с выступлением оркестра и военной музыки в мексиканском павильоне Всемирной выставки в Париже, 22 июня 1889 г. 24,5 х 16 см., хор.сост. Всемирная выставка в Париже 1889 года прошла с 6 мая по 31 октября и была приурочена к столетию взятия Бастилии. Именно для Всемирной выставки 1889 года, инженеру Густаву Эйфелю была заказана знаменитая Эйфелева башня, которую изначально, по окончании мероприятий, планировалось разобрать.
