Zeitgenössischer Halbledereinband, Rücken mit 4 Scheinknöpfen, vergoldeter Titel, mit Kaltpräge und vergoldeten Zierlinien verzierte Felder (einige Abriebspuren am Einband und leichte Stockflecken, vor allem auf den ersten Blättern, die Buchschließen leicht gerissen). Erstausgabe dieses bedeutenden Werks, das 210 handkolorierte und mit Gummi veredelte Tafeln mit Trachten der Völker der Welt sowie vier ebenfalls kolorierte Titelvignetten umfasst. Die Tafeln, die insbesondere von Doms, Duverger, Lisbet und Markaert gestochen wurden, sind alle mit ihren Serpentinen erhalten. Gutes Exemplar. Die Anzahl der Tafeln variiert je nach Exemplar erheblich, wobei diejenigen mit 210 Tafeln als die vollständigsten gelten. Alle Einbände sind erhalten, in gutem Zustand und ohne Stockflecken.
