Pierre François Léonard FONTAINE (1762–1853) zugeschrieben, Traumhafte Ansicht von Italien. Aquarell und Gouache. 33 x 48,5 cm. Unten links befindet sich die Inschrift „Fontaine“. Unsere Zeichnung entstand wahrscheinlich zwischen 1793 und 1798. Nach seiner Rückkehr nach Frankreich, nachdem er in Rom das Werk von Abraham Louis Rodolphe Ducros kennengelernt hatte, plante Pierre Fontaine, sich dem Handel mit Ansichten italienischer Landschaften und Architektur zu widmen.
