Längsformat, orangefarbenes Maroquinleder mit grober Narbung, Titel in vergoldeten Großbuchstaben zwischen zwei großen grünen Mosaikranken auf dem Vorderdeckel, in einem Plexiglas-Etui mit Schiebeverschluss (Claudine Jacqmin). Vollständig auf Kupfer gravierter Atlas, bestehend aus einem von Nicolas Guérard gravierten Titelblatt, 19 von Charles Inselin gravierten Karten, darunter eine Weltkarte, sowie 19 Texttafeln. Auf der Karte von Amerika ist der westliche Teil, der zu jener Zeit noch nicht erkundet war, leer gelassen und trägt folgenden eingravierten Vermerk: „Diese Region ist gänzlich unbekannt.“ Feuchtfleck am Ende, die beiden letzten Tafeln doppelt aufgelegt. Ein großer, jedoch ohne Materialverlust reparierter Riss an einer Texttafel. Papierrestaurierung am Rand oder an der Ecke mehrerer Tafeln Gutachter: Herr Dominique Courvoisier
