Anthonis van Dyck, Umkreis/Circle, Bildnis des Jan Wildens, Ölgemälde des 17. Jhs. in Originalgröße Sir Anthonis van Dyck, 1599 Antwerpen - 1641 London, bedeutender flämischer Maler und Grafiker des Barock, Umkreis/Cercle, hier: Berühmtes Porträt des flämischen Landschaftsmalers Jan Wildens (1585/86-1653), das um 1620-1621 von Anthonis van Dyck geschaffen wurde. Jan Wildens war ein bekannter Antwerpener Maler, der oft mit Peter Paul Rubens zusammenarbeitete, Öl/Lw., mit partiellen Altrestaurierungen & Retuschen, 80 x 60 cm, gerahmt Zum Porträt: Das Hauptwerk van Dycks (Öl auf Leinwand, ca. 75 x 58 cm) befand sich früher im Kunsthistorischen Museum in Wien, gilt jedoch seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg (1945) als verschollen. Es existieren verschiedene zeitgenössische Stiche (u. a. von Paulus Pontius für van Dycks berühmte Druckgrafik-Serie Iconographia sowie zeitgleiche Kopien - wie im vorliegenden Fall - und kleinere Ölstudien in verschiedenen Sammlungen
