In Suk Cho Henkel, Kunstbuch / Buchkunst, Unikat im Glaskasten In Suk Cho Henkel (oft auch Suk Cho-Henkel), * 1945 Seoul - lebt und arbeitet in Bad Fredeburg (Sauerland), südkoreanische Künstlerin, hier: Kunstbuch auf handgeschöpftem Papier, das die Künstlerin wie folgt beschreibt: "Dieses Buch ist ein Unikat. Es hat 38 bearbeitete Innenseiten und entstand im Februar/ März 2003 in meinem Atelier Am Weißen Stein in Bad Fredeburg. Zwei fotografische Arbeiten sind von mir signiert. Das Papier und der Einband wurden wohl in Indien gefertigt", sign. & dat. 2003, 30 x 38cm, im Schaukasten Zur Künstlerin: In Suk Cho Henkel studierte an der Kunsthochschule Qunsan, wo sie sich auf Klassische Tuschmalerei & Koreanische Kalligraphie spezialisierte. Ihre Werke vereinen traditionelle ostasiatische Techniken mit modernen, oft farbenfrohen und abstrakten Elementen. Zu ihren Motiven gehören sowohl menschliche Silhouetten als auch ausdrucksstarke, geometrische und organische Formen.
