Alexis MOSSA (1844–1926). Col de Villefranche, Chemin des carrières (26. Mai 1910) und Die Fischerfamilie am Ufer der Marne (1863). Zwei Aquarelle auf Papier, eines unten links und das andere unten rechts signiert. Beide sind auf der Rückseite betitelt, eines ist mit 3966 und das andere mit 0009 nummeriert. H_8 cm bis 11 cm, B_15 cm bis 18,5 cm (sichtbare Maße) Wir danken Frau Sylvie Lombart-Mossa, Nachfahrin der Maler Mossa und Vorsitzende der Association Symbolique Mossa, die die Echtheit der Aquarelle mit Landschaftsmotiven von Gustave-Adolphe Mossa und Alexis Mossa bestätigt hat. Die „Association Symbolique Mossa“ hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die Maler Mossa bekannt zu machen, und engagiert sich für die Förderung der Werke von Alexis, dessen 100. Todestag wir im Jahr 2027 begehen werden. Anmerkung: Als bedeutende Persönlichkeit der Malerei an der Côte d’Azur und Meister der Aquarellmalerei fängt Alexis Mossa (Absolvent der École des Beaux-Arts in Paris und ehemaliger Konservator des Museums von Nizza) mit Feingefühl das Licht und das kulturelle Erbe der Landschaften der Grafschaft Nizza, der provenzalischen Märkte sowie Italiens ein.
