Barry Originalfotografie des Hunkpapa-Lakota-Häuptlings Gall im Format 7 x 9,75 von David Francis Barry, einem Pionier der Fotografie des amerikanischen Westens, in der Original-Ateliermappe im Format 7,25 x 10,25, mit einer Blindprägung "Copyright by D. F. Barry" im Schulterbereich, einer Blindprägung "Barry" auf dem Passepartout und einer auf der Rückseite angebrachten Seite mit Zeugnissen. Laut General Charles King: "Die Fotografie von Häuptling Gall, mit seinem Kopf und Körper ohne jeglichen wilden Schmuck, mit dem zurückgeworfenen Büffelgewand, das seinen prächtigen Torso entblößt, ist eines der eindrucksvollsten aller indianischen Bilder, und es ist auch ein sprechendes Abbild, das so aussieht, als wäre er hervorgetreten, um zu seinem Volk zu sprechen." Unten finden sich einige biografische Angaben: "Gall starb im Dezember 1894 in der Standing Rock Agency, North Dakota. Gall war der Master Mind und der Anführer der Indianer im Kampf gegen Custer." In gutem Zustand, mit einigen Flecken und Falten auf dem Klappentext.
