Von William H. Taft als Präsident unterzeichnetes Dokument zur Ernennung eines Leutnants der Marine Teilweise gedrucktes Pergamentdokument, als Präsident unterzeichnet mit „Wm. H. Taft“, eine Seite, 15,5 x 19,25, 21. Februar 1912. Präsident Taft ernennt Fred M. Perkins zum „Leutnant der Marine“. Am Ende mit Tinte von Präsident William H. Taft unterzeichnet und vom amtierenden Marineminister Beekman Winthrop gegengezeichnet. Das unten angebrachte blaue Siegel ist größtenteils intakt, weist jedoch oben einen kleinen Verlust auf. In sehr gutem bis gutem Zustand, mit leichten Falten im gesamten Dokument und Feuchtigkeitsflecken entlang der linken Kante.
