August 1894. Als Gouverneur von Ohio ernennt McKinley Edwin A. Latty „zum Notar für den Bezirk Defiance für eine Amtszeit von drei Jahren“. Am Ende mit Tinte von Gouverneur William McKinley unterzeichnet und von Staatssekretär Samuel M. Taylor gegengezeichnet. Das unten links angebrachte Goldfoliensiegel ist abgenutzt, aber intakt. In sehr gutem Zustand, mit sich kreuzenden Falten und vereinzelten Flecken.
