Juni 1846. Präsident Polk ermächtigt und weist „den Außenminister an, das Siegel der Vereinigten Staaten auf den Erlass der Strafe anzubringen, die Hugh Anderson, Kapitän des britischen Schiffes Lady Sale, auferlegt wurde“. Am Ende mit Tinte von Präsident James K. Polk kühn unterzeichnet. In sehr gutem bis gutem Zustand, mit Durchscheinen von vergilbtem Klebeband an den hinteren Kanten.
