UMFELD ODER ATELIER VON PIERRE AUGUSTE RENOIR (1841–1919) Rosenstrauß in einer Einzelblumenvase aus Glas oder irisierender Keramik Skizze, Öl auf aufgezogenem Leinwand. Dieses lebendige Stillleben zeigt einen Strauß blühender Rosen, die in einer bauchigen Vase mit schmalem Hals arrangiert sind. Der Strauß entfaltet sich üppig und vereint weiße Rosen mit cremefarbenen Nuancen, zartrosa Rosen sowie zwei Blütenkränze in einem kräftigeren Karminrosa auf der rechten Seite. Der Hintergrund ist sehr dynamisch mit breiten, schräg gekreuzten Pinselstrichen in Ocker-, Gelb- und Erdtönen gemalt, wodurch rund um die Blumen ein Effekt leuchtender Schwingung entsteht. Zustand: Im Originalzustand. Unsignierte Studie. In den oberen Ecken sind Reißzweckenlöcher aus dem Atelier sichtbar. Leichte Abriebspuren und Gebrauchsspuren am Rand des Kartons, Einriss. Maße: 53 x 37,5 cm.
