Diese Figur stellt eine sitzende Mutter mit ihrem Kind im Arm dar, die als Symbol für Schönheitsideale und Tugenden gilt. Diese Figuren werden bei den jährlichen Zeremonien des Jo, einer Vereinigung eingeweihter Bamana-Männer und -Frauen, sowie bei den Ritualen des Gwan, einer verwandten Vereinigung, deren Ziel es ist, Frauen bei der Empfängnis und Geburt von Kindern zu unterstützen, ausgestellt.
