BRY PARIS. Ring aus 750er Gelbgold, besetzt mit einer Reihe von sechs kalibrierten Smaragden, flankiert von achtzehn Diamanten im modernen Brillantschliff. Entstanden Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts. Signiert. M. O. Französisch (teilweise): R. Geschätztes Gesamtgewicht der Smaragde/Diamanten: 0,35/0,25 ct Fingergröße: 50 Bruttogewicht: 5,2 g Anmerkung: RENÉ BRY CIE, 1937 von René Bry gegründet, zeichnet sich durch die Qualität seines juwelierischen Know-hows und seine Tätigkeit als Hersteller für große Pariser Häuser aus. Zu den bedeutendsten Kooperationspartnern zählt Pierre Sterlé, dessen Kreationen zum Teil in den Werkstätten von René Bry umgesetzt wurden. Die Geschichte des Hauses ist zudem eng mit der von Van Cleef Arpels verflochten, bei dem René Bry während der Besatzungszeit die Funktion des geschäftsführenden Kommissars innehatte. Das Haus, das 1957 in „René Bry Cie“ umbenannt wurde, führte sein Know-how unter der Leitung seiner Söhne Frédéric und Jean-Marc Bry fort, bevor es nach dem Tod von René Bry im Jahr 1992 nach und nach verschwand.
