Gerahmt Das Gemälde ist eine Vorstudie für eine großformatige Komposition, wahrscheinlich ein Kirchenfresko, das nicht mehr auffindbar ist und möglicherweise nie ausgeführt wurde. Der fließende Pinselstrich und die dynamische Komposition spiegeln den Einfluss von Solimena und De Mura sowie von Garzi und Baciccio wider, neu interpretiert in einem ausgeprägteren Rokoko-Stil.
