EIN GROSSES CHINESISCHES RITUELLES BRONZE-SPEISEGEFÄSS IM ARCHAISCHEN STIL, „GUI“, YUAN-/MING-DYNASTIE Das komprimiert kugelförmige Gefäß erhebt sich von einem abgestuften Fuß zu einem sich ausweitenden Rand; um den Körper herum ist ein schmales Band mit stilisierten Kui-Drachen auf einem Liewen-Hintergrund über einem Wellenband am Fuß angeordnet, das Ganze wird durch ein Paar Chilong-Henkel unterteilt; die Bronze weist eine dunkel-schokoladenfarbene Patina auf, mit Holzständer, 37,5 cm breit. Provenienz: Der 7. Marquis von Downshire (1894–1989). Seitdem im Familienbesitz.
