Mit Druckknopfverschluss, auf dem Deckel mit einer Perlmuttplakette verziert, enthält er eine Pistole „Le Merveilleux“, Luxusmodell, mit manueller Nachladung, Zentralfeuer, Kaliber 6 mm Auf dem Rahmen ist „PL BREVETE 11 SGDG“ eingeprägt. Bronzierte Oberfläche. Griffschalen aus Horn (mit Riss). Lauflänge: 7,3 cm Gesamtlänge: 12 cm Entstehungszeit: um 1890. Die sogenannte „Handpistole“, angemeldet von Jacques Rouchouse (1890–1923), Büchsenmacher in Saint-Étienne, Erfinder und Hersteller der Pistole „Le Merveilleux“, Patent vom 19. April 1889.
