Großer Deckelhumpen, Belagerungsszene, 13 Lot Silber, Hanau, Ende 19. Jhdt. Aufwendig gearbeiteter Silberhumpen der Hanauer Silberschmiede Neresheimer. Der zylindrische Korpus ist umlaufend ornamental und figürlich reliefiert und zeigt eine mittelalterliche Belagerungsszene; innen vergoldet, außen mit partieller Vergoldung, stellenweise berieben. Gewölbter Deckel mit Daumenrast, kräftige Handhabe sowie vier ausgestellte Kugelfüße; punziert mit Feingehaltsmarke „13“ (13 Lot, 812,5er Silber) und Herstellermarke „N“. Höhe: ca. 21 cm. Gewicht ca. 1038 Gramm. Insgesamt sehr guter Erhaltungszustand mit lediglich leichten altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren. Literatur: Scheffler, Goldschmiede Hessens, S. 531.
