Rolex - Oyster Precision A rare vintage wristwatch with textured "Swiss only honeycomb" dial Movm. No. N39175, Ref. 6427, Case No. 454771, Dimensions 35 mm, circa 1957, Origin Schweiz Case: Steel, screw back with marking 6494 and III/57, fluted bezel, screwed "Twinlock" winding crown. Dial: Silvered, textured "honeycomb" pattern, inlaid pyramid and arrow-shaped indexes with radium luminous dots, blued central seconds hand, dauphine hands. Movm.: Manual. Reference 6427 is characterised by its striking, guilloché bezel. The finely grooved steel pattern creates a subtle texture that refracts and scatters incoming light, producing a delicate shimmering effect. Combined with the darkened honeycomb dial, Reference 6427 presents an aesthetic that is both functional and refined. The watch is in beautiful condition with a clean hand-wound movement. Case: very good, slightly rubbed. Dial: very good, slightly oxydized, later original crown. Movm.: very good, capable of running, cleaning needed.
