Im Allgemeinen in gutem Zustand, mit Ausnahme der Karten und der angrenzenden Seiten, die Rostspuren aufweisen. Beide Bände in Halbledereinband, mit Zierkappen, doppeltem Titelblatt und bemalten Oberkanten. Das Werk schildert das Leben des Briten, der sich der Revolution der südamerikanischen Republiken anschloss, für die Unabhängigkeit Chiles kämpfte und die Anden überquerte, um sich dem Unabhängigkeitskampf in Peru anzuschließen.
