285 - Zeremonielles Zepter (牙璋), geschnitzt aus einer länglichen Platte aus olivgrüner Jade mit dichter, rötlich schimmernder Patina. Das Stück besteht aus drei Teilen: dem Hauptblatt mit geradem Schaft und abgeschrägten Kanten, das in einer konkaven, gegabelten Spitze endet; der Griff, flankiert von zwei durchbrochenen, gezackten Vorsprüngen, die eine stilisierte, eingeritzte Taotie-Maske umrahmen, sowie der Fuß oder die Ferse, rechteckig im Querschnitt und mit einer Bohrung versehen. Shang-Dynastie (ca. 1600–1046 v. Chr.) oder später.
