Bauhaus. – Waldemar Hüsing (1909-1979). Entwurf für ein Treppenhaus. Deckfarben auf leichtem Karton, um 1931. R. u. monogrammiert, auf Papier montiert, dort signiert. 19,4:13,6cm. Schüler am Bauhaus 1930-33, besuchte Hüsing die Kurse Mies van der Rohe (Architektur) und Peterhans (Fotografie). Folgte dem Bauhaus von Dessau nach Berlin und ist verzeichnet in der Liste für die Prüfungskommission am 29. März 1933 (vgl. Wingler, S.554). Experiment Bauhaus, Nrn. 300f. – Nach Kriegsende hat sich Hüsing in Lübeck niedergelassen, zahlreiche Häuser in und außerhalb der Stadt sind nach seinen Entwürfen entstanden, danach allein fünf Filmtheater in den fünfziger Jahren.
