Ganz im Stil von Cappiello und Jean d’Ylen lässt der Künstler einen fröhlichen Koch erscheinen, der einen Roquefort-Käsekuchen über dem berühmten Dorf Roquefort-sur-Soulzon im Departement Aveyron in die Höhe reckt. Das Bild verkörpert hier zwei Symbole der französischen Küche und Gastronomie: den Käse und einen Chefkoch.
