Auflage auf 60 Exemplare limitiert: Exemplar Nr. 50, signiert vom Dichter und vom Maler. Beigefügt ist eine Serie der vier von Raoul Ubac geschnitzten Holzschnitte, gedruckt auf China-Papier, sowie ein weiterer Holzschnitt auf Velinpapier, signiert. Fünftes Buch von André Frénaud, illustriert von seinem Weggefährten Raoul Ubac, dessen Zusammenarbeit bis ins Jahr 1943 zurückreicht. „Aus dieser Begegnung entstand eine lange Freundschaft, verbunden mit einer intensiven Zusammenarbeit, aus der zehn hervorragend illustrierte Bücher hervorgingen, die von *Énorme figure de la déesse Raison* (1950) bis zu *Construire en marguerite* (1981) reichen.“ (Jean-Paul Madou in *La Voix et le Geste*, André Frénaud und seine Maler, S. 77).
